Abstracted and deconstructed, this is an image of an antique Fire Extinguisher Lamp. Vivid color and bold lines create an image that is playful and graphic. Layers of paint and active brushwork provide wonderful moments of improvisation to the composition.
This painting coordinates with my other painting, "Contemplation." They look great together, or by themselves!
